Sept-Oct Numbers to 1000
In math we are working on Numbers to 1000. Students were working on representing different 3 digit numbers in a variety of ways. They had to use the base-10 materials to model the number. After building the number they wrote it 4 different ways. They wrote the number in standard form (765), in expanded form (700+60+5), in a place value chart, and with a picture. There is a clear explanation page that you can look at below.
